Sometimes it can be difficult to determine what foods contain Gluten. Reading the ingredients and educating yourself are the best ways to determine if it does or doesnt. Why strain your eyes and take more time shopping when you can just scan the barcode and find out instantly.

GlutenScanner makes it easy to determine which food contains Gluten. Simply tap the big blue friendly Scan button, aim your camera at the barcode and just like that, youll know if it has Gluten or not. Super simple!

Are you out for the day and need to find a restaurant that has Gluten Free food? Tap on the Dining tab and the app will determine your location and show green pins that will tell you what restaurants around you have gluten free menus, yellow pins indicate that the restaurant has some gluten free items. You can even visit their site within the app to view their allergy information. If a restaurant has gluten free items and isnt listed, you can submit it to the database.

We use information from the internet to gather the ingredient information and look for Gluten ingredients. Ultimately it is up to you to make the final decision. This tool will make your shopping trips faster and help you feel more confident about your purchasing decisions.

GlutenScanner is already aware of 18,000+ items which do and do not have Gluten. A search is performed to get information on items that are not in the database. You can submit your scanned items to add to the database. If something wasnt found, you can submit the barcodes to the developer and we can attempt to gather information about the item to add to the database.

Currently available in the U.S. and Canada. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
